This is Ryan and he is currently a junior concentrating in History, even though he applied to Brown as a biology major and spent his freshmen year studying computer science. He loves tennis and drawing :)
Matt is a sophomore in Brown's newly-founded Zoom School of Online Learning concentrating in Business Economics. Some of his friends also know him as Maddai. When he's not writing reviews, running Mahjong Club (join Mahjong Club and learn how to play!), studying, eating, or sleeping, Maddai is watching YouTube, thinking about food, or going to Boston to indulge in food.
Kaitlyn is a Cognitive Neuroscience concentrator from Nashville, Tennessee. She spends far too much of her time creating kpop playlists for her friends, avoiding the consumption of fruits, and rewatching episode 46 of the critically acclaimed Chinese drama "The Untamed".
Lauren Toneatto '21 is an English and History of Art & Architecture concentrator from Westchester, New York. When she's not sifting through Critical Review surveys, you can find her trying out new restaurants on Thayer Street.

Tess is a junior from (a tiny town near) Savannah, Georgia and is concentrating in English Nonfiction Writing. Tess loves all things college football and is a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan. When she isn't writing reviews, catch her in the AQR pretending to write papers while actually scrolling through /r/CFB or in the SciLi basement rewatching the 2018 Rose Bowl.
Holly is a first-year student considering Linguistics and maybe Computer Science. She was born and raised in Beijing, China, and she went to high school in Massachusetts. When she is not writing or coding, she enjoys every opportunity to play her clarinet.
Rebecca is a sophomore concentrating in history, which can be attributed to her obsession with 1776 and Hamilton. Aside from being a writer for the Critical Review, she is a foodie, ballroom dancer, and RPDR junkie.
Aditya is a first-year from New Delhi, India concentrating in Mathematics and possibly Economics or History. He enjoys reading the news and history articles, watching good TV shows and movies and traveling.
Juliette is a second year planning on studying Literary Arts and enjoys expressing her work through both literary and visual means. She enjoys writing, trying new restaurants, and exploring new cities. Oftentimes she can be found holed up in nooks around campus or waiting in a line in the Blue Room to get a much needed caffeine boost.
Oliver Kneen is a first-year student from Houston, Texas. His ideal Friday night is spent watching Netflix while eating Indian food, but he also enjoys writing short stories, preparing meals, and playing board games.
Andrew is a first-year coming from Boston, MA, and is excited to be able to contribute to the Critical Review after having spent so many hours on there already. He is considering concentrating in biochemistry, but has an interest in history and international relations. Outside of the Critical Review, Andrew enjoys sailing, frisbee, and cooking.
Cristian is a sophomore from New Jersey planning on studying psychology. When they're not doing homework or writing Critical Reviews, you can find them screaming quietly to the latest twist in a novella.
Kaitlan is a sophomore from Southern California (West Coast Best Coast) concentrating in English. She loves reading handwritten letters, attempting to roast marshmallows over a beach bonfire, and taking her younger cousin out to eat ice cream and borrow library books. Kaitlan finds writing bios difficult and would rather get to know people over a bowl of Andrew’s (fake) pho.
Shiyi Zhang '22 is an applied math-economics concentrator with additional interests in cognitive sciences. She strives to combine the two disciplines and examine behavioral economics.
